In Montreal, summer officially starts when the Grand Prix rolls into town. And what comes to most peoples mind is which event (s) will rock THE most! Based on what I’m hearing ADN is getting the most buzz. One of my favorite art venues Arsenal has put together a series of important events to celebrate the richness of Quebec’s artistic output by creating mind blowing multi-sensory experiences. Contemporary art, fashion, dance, music, and culinary arts: ADN is greater than the sum of its parts.
“The Arsenal’s ADN series of events aims to introduce the best of our local contemporary culture to a wider audience,” explains Arsenal Director Jean-François Bélisle. “Denis Gagnon represents an ideal choice in our opinion, since he is an exceptional creative force that deserves greater recognition from the local and international public at large.” As Denis Gagnon says himself, “it’s a rare privilege to participate in a project built around my creations and inspirations that covers my universe in its entirety.”
Top 5 reasons to attend:
1- Fashion – Denis Gagnon has been at the forefront of Montreal’s fashion scene for the past 20 years. The event features a presentation of the Denis Gagnon Fall-Winter 2014 collection and includes music and dance performances
2-Social scene – We all like to occasionally meet new faces, bump into a celebrity and discover new acts in company of our inner and outer circle of friends. The best is when you bump into someone you know, have their name on the tip of your tongue and the time comes to introduce them to your friends lol…
3-Location… Location… Location. In one of Montreal’s most vibrant neighbourhoods Griffintown, the once a upon a time shipyard that is now a contemporary art venue has hosted array of spectacular events ( C2MTL and the no longer Montreal Fashion Week)
4-Vaccum your heavy head – You’ve been submitted to all kinds of tortures in past 5 days. Your boyfriend/girlfriend left you, you lost money etc. Being off the track for some time will clear your head, only to help you think better and sort your way out
5- Work related – Circo de Bakuza. I know I own an ad agency… finding out more about the creative agency specializing in events, branding, and experiential marketing is on my priority list 😉

Advance general admission tickets are $30, and include the fashion presentation, entertainment and cash bar. VIP Access, with a pre-show cocktail party, is $100; Ultra VIP tickets are $1,500 for 10.
