It’s been 20 years since Wu-Tang Clan dropped their first album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) on November 9, 1993. Recently, their  Clan leader RZA revealed his plans to put together a reunion album in time with their 20th anniversary, but the official date came and went with no LP on the rumor mill horizon. According to MTV, Raekwon and other Wu-members who aren’t as dedicated to the project, are to blame.

Some members of the clan who are getting their shizit together for the big album drop? Method Man who has already recorded 9 songs, while other members seem to be busy with their own projects. U-god reveals that Coppadonna has a record with Drake. According to RZA, the clan’s notable rapper/producer front man he is one of the only ones to contribute to A Better Tomorrow, their first album in 6 years. Ghostface Killah will be the next hip hop artist that we get to see work through his tumultuous relationship on a national reality TV show “Couples therapy” on VH1. Is his rocky love boat affecting the clan’s plans? We shall see! According to Inspectah Deck’s Twitter he has been recording songs but has not handed them all in. Masta Killa is… well no where to be found, perhaps he and Raekwon are playing hooky together?

While waiting for their Anniversary album to FINALLY land, you can enjoy their tour!  OLYMPIA tomorrow in MTL. Wednesday night November 27th, 2013.
