The wall is coming down. Experience a night free of social custom, prejudice, where anything goes.

Each year, the Young Associates of the Opéra de Montréal organize a fundraising event, nothing short of unique and inspiring: A Night at the Opera! The goal is two-fold… celebrating the art of opera while raising funds for the Opéra de Montréal.

This year the commitee is taking things up a notch by inviting Quebec’s top drag queen performers from the popular show Ils de Jours, Elles de Nuit featuring 6 totally wild & sparkling drag queens; Tracy Trash, Barbada de Barbades, Rita Baga, Lady Boom Boom, Gabry-Elle et Lady Poonana. Expect the unexpected as they may catch you off guard with their performances on and off the stage!

On the program: a DJ, open bar, gastronomy, VIP lounge, opera, rap, animations… and lots of other surprises. The venue will include a memorable on-stage experience, amid the enchanting sets of Another Brick In The Wall, inspired by Pink Floyd, the psychedelic phenomenon of the 60’s and their mythical album.

All proceeds go to Opéra de Montréal and its activities.

Over 500 participants will be attending this year. Ticket purchase here.

Place: Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, Place des Arts
Date: March 17, 2017
Time: 8:30 pm-2:30 am

The goal of the Young Associates Committee is to help the Opéra’s administration meet its goals of broadening and renewing its audience, reaching out to the corporate milieu, and mobilizing the community of young professionals. This provides unique opportunities for discussion and learning, as well as privileged access to opera.
