Goodies like GizaPage!

With all the social communities out there and new ones launched every week, it’s getting tough for bands or anyone to manage all the passwords, login pages, status updates, widgets, blogs yadayada but there is a light at the end of the dark tunnel of social media chao! OpenID & GizaPage promise to make things easier.

OpenID is a way to create 1 digital signature across the web. This is great for security as your user name and password are converted into a much more encrypted version managed by OpenID. For Geeks this means  “OpenID is an open, decentralized, free framework for user-centric digital identity” taken straight off their website- say wha?? Bet our buddy Andre understands this 😉

GizaPage, seems like the best thing since ice cream for a busy digital marketer, band or brand who wishes to manage all their social web presence in one easy interface. We took a sneak peak and we are going to recommend it to all the bands.  Social media management is being seen in two ways.  An overwhelming hassle for those simple folk who are still adapting to the cell phone evolution and on the other side, a revolutionary way of quick and efficient way to communicate to millions of people per second.

Marshall McLuhan who is considered the first father and leading prophet of the electronic age, predicted that information and the way we communicate would become faster than our ability to react.  At the time, people didn’t understand how that could be possible, when the phone rang we had ample time to react to our communication. When we turned on the TV, we knew what was going to be broad-casted from the TV guide.  Now with the electronic highway known as the Internet, we log on and there is too much going on. It is impossible to keep up and even the greatest experts in Web marketing and Social Media management cannot be hundreds of places at once. This is why I have made a list of the hottest social media consolidators and management apps out there:

So bands get on these and new media managers you too! If I have left important sites out, do let me know!
