If you do not know Fashion Preview, check out Heather’s article and the Fashion Preview website for a little update.

If you do get your tickets (if you haven’t already) and fill in your schedule with these 8 must sees!

8.  OCTOBER 17TH @ 6:30pm – ROSIE, CÉGEP MARIE-VICTORIN. The students of this Cégep have inspired a collection off of Rosie, a Betty Bonifassi theater piece on slave culture and savage beauty. The trailer (below) looks phenomenal and I have a good feeling the runway show will be to.

7. OCTOBER 17TH @ 8:40pm – DUY. The timeless and luxurious pieces of Duy Collection for the powerful and elegant women. What is more empowering then to see a woman wearing a tailored suit better than any man.

6.OCTOBER 18TH @6:15pm – ÉCOLE SUPÉRIEURE DE MODE. Represent! This school has gotten me where I am today, and given way to Gabrielle Drolet Maguire, MARKANTOINE and DOSSIER magazine and countless other magnificent creators and entrepreneurs. Who will we discover on Wednesday!!

5. OCTOBER 18TH @ 7:30pm – ONESELF. Montreal is full of talents and empowering women! Oneself is one clothing brand that aims to promote just that. Feminine, comfortable as well as tailored and professional. You go girl!

4. OCTOBER 19TH @ 6:15pm – ORDER PROJECT PRESENTATION. The 3rd year students of LaSalle College were asked to translate the traditional army attire incorporating satire, subversion, and parody in their design process. Getting students to think outside the norms, to challenge values and social practices, THIS IS WHAT I LIVE FOR!

3. OCTOBER 19TH @ 8:10pm – NICO. A first at Fashion Preview, NICO is fresh off of the Toronto runway to present his androgynous looks that will WOW you! His story is inspirational. He left the stability of a health job in Quebec City to make it big as a designer in Montreal! We are all rooting for you babe!

2. OCTOBER 19TH @ 9:50pm – MARKANTOINE. Closing the 3 day festival this UQAM graduate is showing his Spring/Summer 2018 collection “ROSES!”. I can’t wait to see his creative gothic esthetics stomping on that runway!

1. OCTOBER 19TH @ 9:30pm – OFFICIAL AFTERPARTY. MARKANTOINE and Fashion Preview are hosting a grand afterparty at Fitzroy on Mont-Royal. Come mingle with and congratulate the team and designers who made it all happen!

SEE YOU ALL THERE!
