So, Montreal, Winter is (has been) here, and of course with it brings the best times to cuddle up in, and around our fine city of romance. As usual, Montreal is a mecca of entertainment, events, and cool things to do all the time. Valentine’s Day is no exception.

Natrel Skating Rink

Since this rink is refrigerated, weather don’t matter. With the snowy river on one side and the ancestral buildings on the other, show your better half how much you can stand on your own two skates.

If this four-course dinner package is a little too fancy, or expensive you also have an option at Maisonneuve Parc. They  are welcoming guests from 9 to 10pm everyday for free.  Check the conditions before you get there.

Here is a no-brainer. I’m pretty sure everyone loves chocolate! At least, they love chocolate on the appropriate holidays, and what makes an appropriate holiday if not Valentine’s Day?

It’s a sweet time for a tasting the hand-made confections of  Genevieve Grandbois Chocolates. Try out the Camellia Sinensis crispy rice and green tea chocolate bar!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day!

Love the taste of award-winning beers, like the Farnham Ale? If so, I highly suggest considering a get away from the Montreal limits.

One hour and 30 minutes from Montreal to the Eastern townships, the micro-breweries have been mushrooming along the way. It’s cozy, it’s romantic, and very authentically Canadian to hole up with your babe in this winter cabin atmosphere – and indulge in the brews!
